House Calls
Why do we do house calls? Because persons who are seriously injured or disabled often are not able to get around very easily. If they wait until they feel well enough to travel to a lawyer’s office, critical evidence may have disappeared or they may have made statements or done other acts that gravely undermine their claim.
Our practice focuses on personal injury and disability. We are committed to helping clients harmed by negligence, injured on the job, or disabled by illness. We view house calls for clients who are having trouble getting around as part of that commitment.
We cannot do house calls for everyone, but if you are having serious trouble getting around or if your days are simply being made too unpredictable by your symptoms or pain, we will be happy to come to you.
Why Early Help Matters
The first days and weeks after an injury are when cases are often won or lost. Insurance adjusters call quickly and ask for recorded statements. Witnesses move or forget what they saw. Trucking companies are only required to keep some driver records for six months. A dangerous step gets repaired. And strict deadlines — 10 days to notify an employer of a work injury, 60 days to appeal a Social Security denial — keep running whether or not you feel well enough to deal with them. A house call lets us start protecting you right away.
Who Benefits From a House Call
- People recovering from serious injuries in a car crash, truck collision or motorcycle collision.
- People hurt in a fall who cannot yet walk or drive.
- Patients and families dealing with the effects of medical malpractice.
- Workers who cannot drive or sit for long periods after a job injury. See workers’ compensation.
- People whose illness or pain makes it hard to leave home, including many Social Security Disability claimants.
What Happens During a House Call
A Lambros attorney meets with you at your home, or at the hospital or rehabilitation facility, to hear what happened, review your documents and answer your questions. We explain your rights, the deadlines that apply to your claim and the next steps. If we take your case, we can start preserving evidence right away — before it is lost.

How to Prepare

- Make a list of your doctors, hospitals and pharmacies, and the medications you take.
- Collect photographs of the scene, your vehicle or your injuries, if you have them.
- For work injuries, have your employer’s name and any claim numbers ready. For disability claims, have any Social Security notices you have received.
